Welcome, Michael Davis to the HNW Staff Team!
It's Michael, and I'm honored and excited to serve as the Discipleship Minister at Houston Northwest Church! God led our family to HNW about a year ago, and I am humbled by the opportunity to minister to the church that has so immensely encouraged and loved our family.
I am married to Sarah for almost nine years, and God has given us three wonderful children: Winnie (4), Lucy (2), and Gideon (4 mos.). Sarah and I met as teenagers in our church's student ministry right up the road in Magnolia, and we share a beating heart for Jesus and his church. We love spending time with our kids, being active and outside, and enjoying good food and conversation with dear friends.
I studied at Wheaton College in Illinois and have served churches in Austin, Northwest Arkansas, and Greater Houston over the past 10 years. Outside of vocational ministry, I have also worked in retail management and software consulting. I'm passionate about helping people follow Jesus within the context of community in whatever season God has them, and this is my continued prayer as I begin serving the discipleship ministries of HNW.
