12/4/20 Covid Update
Church Family,
As I’m certain you’re all aware, COVID-19 cases are on the rise—not just in Houston, but nationwide.
Personally, I have thoroughly enjoyed in-person worship since we started gathering again in September. I know it has been a source of encouragement for many of you. We have seen God move, even in these odd circumstances.
We have been especially thankful that after three months of gathering, we have had no COVID-19 outbreaks tied to our Sunday morning worship gatherings. We attribute that to your diligence in helping us with precautions—including social distancing and masks. I have talked to many in the “at risk” population who have been able to attend because they have felt safe due to our precautions.
As we head through Advent and towards Christmas, we want to prevent an outbreak so we can continue to worship in-person and, more specifically, hold our Christmas Eve services. Since we weren’t able to gather in-person for Easter, I know many of us are excited about our indoor and outdoor options.
All of this to say: Would you please help us by remaining vigilant in taking precautions as we gather for in-person worship? Your willingness helps those in our “at risk” population and helps us preserve our clean track record.
I love each of you. Thanks for your love for me and mine.
Because of Jesus,
