In-person worship canceled this Sunday, June 28
Dear Church Family,
Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo today asked faith leaders to do their part to help curb the spread of COVID-19. Your health and safety, and that of our community, is of utmost importance, so we have elected to cancel in-person worship at our campus this Sunday, June 28.
Judge Hidalgo announced today that the COVID-19 Threat Level system has been increased to Level 1. Level 1 signifies a severe and uncontrolled level of COVID-19 in Harris County, meaning outbreaks are present and worsening and that testing and contact tracing capacity is strained or exceeded. At this level, residents should take action to minimize contact with others wherever possible and avoid leaving home except for the most essential needs like going to the grocery store for food and medicine.
Online services will still be available on Sunday at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Facebook and HNW.org/ONLINE. Please join us, and stay safe!
