HNW Beta Test for In Person Worship Coming June 7th!
Church Family,
Thanks for your incredible patience and flexibility during this season. You continue to bless me with your willing spirit and generous heart. I love each of you.
As I mentioned in my email two weeks ago, our goal through the process of returning is to move at the speed of a family.
After prayer, research and discussion, your Elders believe that we have reached a point where we can take the next step in that family journey as we move towards regathering.
On Sunday, June 7, we are going to hold a Beta Test for In-Person Worship.
In case you’re not familiar with the term, a “beta test” means that we are still in the development phase of how we will return, so we will give it a “dry run” to see how things go. After the beta test is concluded on June 7, we will evaluate the logistics and overall experience and make a decision about whether or not to continue in-person worship at this time, or to delay in-person worship to a later date.
We will be using the recommendations given us by the CDC, the Texas Attorney General, and the White House in our preparations for this service.
We are still working out details, but I want to share a few relevant points at this time:
More information will be coming your way soon. In the meantime, begin praying now for this service, for those who will serve, and about your involvement.
I long for the day when things will be much more normal and I can see your faces.
Until then, I trust that this season of expectation will train us to look forward to the Day we finally see the Lord.
Because of Jesus,
Pastor Steve

We will be using the recommendations given us by the CDC, the Texas Attorney General, and the White House in our preparations for this service.
We are still working out details, but I want to share a few relevant points at this time:
- We are moving at the speed of a family. This means erring on the side of caution in order to keep every single member of our family safe. This is how we serve one another.
- Based on CDC recommendations, we are asking those who have underlying health issues or are in the high-risk category to refrain from gathering at this time.
- We anticipate offering one beta service at 9 a.m. That service would then be rebroadcast during our other online service times.
- Those who attend the service will be asked to register online. We will send the link once we have set up the online process. Current guidelines restrict attendance to 25% of capacity.
- Those who attend the service will be asked to practice social distancing and to wear masks.
- We will have additional safety measures in place (extra hand sanitizing stations, limiting bathroom capacity, etc.).
- We will not pass an offering basket but will instead offer giving online or via receptacles as we exit the auditorium.
- Those who attend the service will be asked to evaluate the service and overall experience by taking part in an online survey immediately following the service.
- There will be no kids or student ministries available.
- We anticipate setting up tables in the auditorium for families with children. Parents are encouraged to bring activities for their young children to enjoy at the tables.
- There will be no on-campus groups meeting on that day.
More information will be coming your way soon. In the meantime, begin praying now for this service, for those who will serve, and about your involvement.
