Elders

The Bible tells us that the earliest churches were led by elders (also called “pastors,” “overseers,” or “bishops”). These men were given the charge of leading and providing care to those churches. Houston Northwest Church strives to follow the example of the Bible, choosing an Elder Council that includes both staff and volunteer elders. Together they provide direction and care to the people of our church.
